Vermont: part--fly home

On the way home from Shelburne Farms, we saw hay being baled. We stopped and watched for a little while.
Then we did what all Vermonters with houses do, raked leaves and jumped in big leaf piles, except my dad doesn't have a house so we went to the park, and he didn't have a rake, so we used a broom.  There were a lot of leaves!  The kids jumped over and over again. Then came back for more.

We wanted to see my friend Mindy--my best friend growing up, but things came up and we didn't get to meet up. So, she left early in the morning from her house with her 3 boys and met us for breakfast at the airport. Breakfast was an adventure. The restaurant was through security, so I went through and ordered and went out, then they were confused and I went back through. Then Mark went to pick it up, but it wasn't all done, so he had to go through the security line twice. What a hassle!  And the food finished just as we had to get in the security line, so we didn't get to eat until we were on the other side about to board the airplane. But the crepes were really good, and we were really glad we got to see Mindy.

We were excited to see the pilot. Alianna says she wants to be a pilot one day.
