We drove back from MA on Sunday. We got in late, because we had to stop and see where Joseph Smith was born. The kids were excited to see the little remains of the house he was born in. They kept asking, was he born here or here, pointing at spots on the ground where there were still some bits of foundation.
Monday we went to Shelburne Farms. Maybe I went when I was really little, but I didn't remember. It was fun for all of us! And a beautiful place. We all got to milk a cow. Lily was a natural.
There was a hike with a goat. The kids all had fun running with the 2 goats who followed the path pretty well.
The view from the top of the hill we climbed was beautiful! That's Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains in NY in the background
At the end the kids all helped lead the goats back to the barn.
It was a beautiful large historic barn on a lot of land.
