We took 3 planes to Vermont--2 layovers. We enjoyed the time to stretch our legs.
We brought snacks and lots of things to do no the planes.
Lily was excited to see granddaddy.
Our first day there was rainy.
But we walked in the rain. Next door to granddaddy a new home was being built.
There is a park across from his house.
On Monday, we hiked up to Ethan Allen tower--a memorial to Ethan Allen on the top of a hill.
The hike was beautiful.
We also went to Lake Champlain chocolate factory. The kids loved the free samples.
We went out on the lake on a boat.
It was windy and cool.
Lunch was at the Shanty, where Shalea had her first job bussing tables. We all had yummy clams!
