Happy Halloween!

Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year.  I love getting dressed up, and having Alianna to dress up too is even more fun!  This year Alianna was a little poodle.  She didn't mind the makeup or costume, which made us happy.  We brought her around to all the neighbors and they were so happy to see such an adorable wee girl.

Alianna has been helping around the house.  She has so much energy and wants to help with everything, or just be part of the action.  We made bread the other day.  Alianna tested out the flour.

Here she is helping with the laundry.  Notice there is a missing shirt where her head is poking through.  She pulled everything off I put on!

One more bit of exciting news.  Alianna has taken her first steps!!!  The last few days she has been testing out her legs and standing on her own.  She'll push away from the couch or something she had been holding on to and stand there a little wobbly.  A few times she has taken one or two steps.  Then she realizes she isn't holding on to anything and she sits down and crawls or grabs back onto whatever is closest.  We are so excited for her.  She really moves now.
