Alianna loves to explore our flat. She is doing on her feet more and more too. Here she is standing all by herself. Lately she lets go of things to test her balance. She can stand holding something for a good while--around 2 minutes one time I was watching her. She steps toward things she wants too. And she can bend down and pick something up while standing without falling over. And shake things in her hands and clap for herself and do a little dance. That's good balance!

Here she is trying to open the locked cabinet and playing with the oven--it gives a nice reflection.
Alianna loves to play with the washing machine. She can open it up and look inside all by herself.
And she loves to play with the refrigerator magnets. Mostly she takes them off and leaves them on the floor by the fridge or somewhere else in the house.
Here is Alianna last week on my birthday. We tried to fly a kite, but it was not windy. It is getting cold though.
After our failed kite flying attempt, we went out to dinner. Alianna got her first meal off the kids menu--pasta with tomato sauce.
She really liked it!
