We made cookies and brought them to our neighbors. There are 3 other families in our building--2 with 2 month olds and other children. It was fun meeting them.
One of the types of cookies was persimmon cookies. I was getting something ready in another part of the kitchen when I looked back to see this. Alianna had put the persimmons in the blender and in a cup and was "cooking" them! She loves to help.
Alianna had fun wearing all my Christmas socks. She wanted to take them off me and put them on every time I had on fun socks. (She has her own Christmas socks too, but for some reason, she wanted mine.)
Christmas eve we went to Grandma Mimi and Papa's house. Mark and I helped make dinner while Alianna napped. When we woke her up, she was happy to see lots of snacks on the coffee table--just her height.
Alianna loves to jump off things. She was jumping into my arms when her cousin Mitchell told her to jump to him. With a big smile, she jumped into his arms.
Alianna helps blow up balloons...just kidding. Really she is trying to pop the balloon with her teeth. One accidentally popped when she was holding it and she thought it was really quite funny, so she kept trying to pop the rest of the balloons.
On Christmas morning, while I was cleaning up breakfast, Alianna saw another place that needed cleaning--the balcony. Leaves are constantly blowing on it and we are always trying to throw them off. Alianna thinks it's fun. (Yes, she is wearing unmatching shoes--something she has been doing all week now too. Her favorite--on the left foot--was lost at grandma Mimi's, but we found it. Now we can't find the other one, and she has to wear the one. So, she has two different shoes everytime she goes outside now.)

Alianna received lots of fun gifts. We got her a megablock piano
complete with lots of blocks to make a big tower.
Papa, grandma Mimi and Nana came over Christmas night to play games. Alianna had a lot of fun with Papa.
The baby is growing big. Almost here!
