The other day I was wondering where Alianna had walked off to and I found her here, over the footrest pole of our stool. I thought she was stuck and would want rescuing. She looked a little worried at first. Then she giggled and smiled, so I ran for the camera.

Alianna is fun
Alianna is doing wonderful. She walks everywhere now very confidently. When it has been dry, which is not much, I have let her walk outside. We walk to the library and around the grocery store. She loves walking down the produce aisles and looking at all the fruits and vegetables. She grabs nuts, and tries to take cans down off the shelf. We walked by the wine a couple of days ago and she ran for it. She loves bottles. But glass!! She is so happy being so independent.

Alianna absolutely loves pulling everything out of her drawers. She especially loves the top drawer (maybe because she can't see inside). The other day I found her standing on a bag of books pulling out all her clothes.

Alianna has been wanting to sit on our chairs a lot lately. She doesn't need a toy to entertain her, just sitting there makes her happy. But she can't get up by herself. She goes over and lifts one leg, then the other... and it just doesn't work. So, if I notice, I lift her up. If not, she whimpers. I think she likes being up high.
We are babysitting another baby tonight. Alianna was so happy when she arrived. She went over to her and started talking and trying to poke her eyes. I had to keep reminding her no touching. The other baby was quite interested in Alianna too, so I think she didn't mind the attention.
