
Here is one of the many bagpipers who play on the street in the tourist areas to make money.

This is the Holyrood Palace. The queen still comes to stay here every summer and on other special occasions. There is a tour including the rooms where Mary queen of Scots used to live, but no pictures allowed inside. This castle is much more inviting and homey than the one on the rock.

This is an actual working clock made entirely out of plants and flowers. Pretty cool.

HOW FUN. I admit, I'm jealous. What a fantastic adventure you're having! I'm excited to keep reading your blog and see your Scottish adventures! I'm interested to see how their University system is different from ours? Also CONGRATS on the bambino!
