Summer

Summer is almost over and I haven't posted in what seems like forever.  But I have good reason.  I was sick.  Really really sick and pregnant.  Another baby!  We are excited.  And we all hope I feel a lot better soon.

Here are some fun things the kids did this summer.

 Enjoy corn and strawberries,

play with pool tubes around the house,  (they get in the way at the pool where the kids prefer jumping and swimming)
build houses, stores, and more with blocks, (No it was not a cool day here--it was probably in the high 90s, but we were sorting through some long sleeve shirts from last winter to see if any will fit this winter and Alianna HAD to put on her owl shirt.  She loves owls right now.)
 tumble,
slide inside where it is cooler,
read with sick mama on bed rest,
 match their clothes,
and of course, swim.  When I finally felt a little well, at least well enough to walk to the pool for a few minutes and take a few photos, I was very impressed with what good swimmers we have.  Both kids jump right in.  Alianna does trick jumps--backward, twists, cannonballs.  Eli showed me how he dives in--from his knees.  And they both swim all around the pool.  They have no fear of water and love to be in it.  Mark has to wrestle them out at night so they can eat dinner and get to bed.
