Easter

I know it's been a little while since Easter, but these were just too cute not to post.

Before Easter we went to an Easter egg hunt and party put on by the city. (Alianna dressed herself.)


The kids all loved the firetruck.
Climbing and slides won out over the organized games.

Alianna loved practicing with the eggs in her closet. We drew some pictures to put inside instead of candy. (Another example of Alianna's eclectic clothing choices.)
We also went to an egg decorating party at church. Alianna helped me dip the eggs and draw pictures with crayons. The missionaries in the ward made cool eggs and traded Alianna for some of hers at the end.
Sat. before Easter we had a big family dinner and egg hunt. Everyone had fun, and even the kids agreed the moms went a little overboard on the number of eggs for the 3 little kids.


We did our own extra egg hunts on Easter night with puzzle pieces inside the eggs making a puzzle of Jesus--the real reason we celebrate Easter. Alianna looked a couple of times, then she wanted to hide the eggs.
