The Fresno Zoo

Last week was a bit of a cooler week. I have been waiting for a little autumn weather, and it was so nice! (This week has been hot again.) So, we went to the zoo. Alianna loves animals and had a great time. She didn't want to leave.

One of the first places we went was to the bird house. Once inside the birds had free roam. There were two of these big blue birds and they liked Alianna. She thought they were cool, even after one tried to eat her hand. She was surprised and we were a little worried, but then she laughed and said noooooo when I asked can the bird eat your hand? When we came home, after her nap she kept pointing to her hand remembering the bird and saying more more. (Don't worry, there was no blood or even a mark.)
Alianna loves elephants, and while these didn't make any noises for us, one of them was eating and pulling hay down which was fun to watch.
Ostriches
This tiger paced around his cage and was loud! It was fun to see one of the big cats moving. It seems like they are always sleeping.
The petting zoo was a favorite spot for Alianna. She pet every goat and sheep and kept running between them saying more. It was really cute.
Then Mark told her to give one a kiss and she almost did! Mark was surprised and yelled noooooo when she got close. Poor Alianna was very confused. So, we blew kisses instead.
Alianna loves to climb and balance, so whenever there was a low wall, or these wooden pillars, we had to stop and let her walk across them. She loved that part as much as the animals! We had to drag her away.

Alianna is so independent and adventurous (just like Shalea!). Kisses to the goats-- hehe!
Hugs,
