The Fair and more

We went to the fair a couple of weeks ago and had lots of fun. We saw giant pumpkins and tons of other foods grown here on display, crafts, and ...
The animals! They were Alianna's favorites to see.

But her absolute favorite part may have been the box of corn to play in. We considered getting one for our house...cleaner than sand?
Lately Alianna has been wanting to take showers. She stands under the water to wash off and cleans the windows, and sometimes presses her face on the glass and makes faces at us. It's pretty funny.
She has also been enjoying stamping, although I am always worried that the stamp may miss the paper.
This is a funny story. We went to a friend's house to play and Alianna was getting really hungry. Well, they had some gluten free corn chex and she munched on some while we chatted. A few days later (after we went to a few yard sales and a little boy gave her a bear) at the grocery store she saw the box on the shelf and really wanted to buy some. I try not to give her sugar, and they were sugary, so I told her no, then turned to get something else. When I came back she had a box of the store brand chex under her arm with a big smile. They were not gluten free, so no, we did not buy them, but I let her hold them as we went around the store.
Alianna still loves to help me cook. I love to have her help, although with her gluten allergy I am always worried when she helps make bread or cookies. We try to make some gluten free snacks with her too, so she can sometimes try the mix. Luckily for us she is a good sport and knows that some foods are not for her. It may help that I can't eat a lot of things right now either, so she sees we all have limitations and things that make us sick. (Sometimes she even says her bears are sick or cannot eat something. She is so good at pretending and it is so cute!)
Alianna loves to play on our bed. We usually throw her on it or flip her all around, so she thinks it is a fun place to play. Sometimes she even gets to jump into bed and wake up daddy with lots of kisses!
Lately in the morning, and sometimes at snacktime and meal times, all the bears, dolly and other animals join us. Alianna makes sure they each have a bib and sometimes they get spoons and forks. Then she puts some food on her spoon and puts it up to each one for a bite before she eats it. She is very kind to share with all of them, although it does make eating take a long time.
This is my shirt. One night we were looking for pjs and she went to get me some. This penguin shirt could in no way fit over my tummy and I told this to Alianna, so she decided since it was too small for me, it must fit her. She wore it over her pjs to bed for a couple of nights, then in the morning took off the pjs and just wore the shirt until we got dressed for the day. It was really cute. (I did have to rubberband the neck to make it not fall off, otherwise it went right to her knees.)
We got this stroller at a yardsale with a little tear. I finally got around to mending it and now Alianna loves it. She pushes her bears and dolly around the house and on walks outside. She makes sure they have a sweater if it is cool, and she loves to take them to the park. I just have to help her keep them clean because she likes to have them sleep with her too and they can't be in the laundry at bedtime.
Look how great Alianna does the swing now! She holds on very tight and waits until she stops to get off.
Look, Mark, Alianna, and the bears all went down the slide.
Alianna loves to cut and paste. Here we are making Halloween cards and posters.
Finally, a picture of our growing baby. I don't think it's a great picture of me, but you can see the baby is growing in there. It moves and wiggles all the time now!!
