Easter

So I thought I had posted the Easter photos, but I just realized I hadn't, so here it is.

We had a few Easter egg hunts, plus a lot of putting stuff in the eggs and taking it out for fun. The first Easter party we went to was put on by the city. They had games for the kids and easter bunny ears and eggs. It was nice the way they separated the kids by age so everyone had more of a fair chance. Alianna didn't get many eggs, but she had fun. It was at a park, so at the end she played at the park a little with her cousins who were there. She absolutely loved climbing on the firetruck too!




The second Easter egg hunt was at a family's house in our ward. They live out a little ways and have lots of land and animals. Alianna kept getting distracted looking at the chickens and pigs. She had a lot of fun. She even got to hold a baby chick! I wasn't expecting that, so no photo, sorry.



I think Alianna's favorite egg hunt was probably the one her aunt Hillari did. She made eggs full of non-candy, her dad brought some with gold dollars, and we brought some with raisins (her favorite). She love opening the eggs and actually being allowed to eat what was inside!

Easter dinner was at Mary and Rick's house. Mark and I made some vegetables and cute easter nest desserts. All the family came.
I bought the kids some little capsules that grow into shapes in the water. They had fun with that, and got quite wet.
