just some more cute pics of Alianna

Alianna is so cute in her tartan dress and shoes!
We went to Glasgow to hear Elder Bednar speak last week and arrived a little early. We just had time to see a small part of one of the museums with elephants and giraffes.

Alianna has really been enjoying her swimming lessons. She swims underwater, on her tummy and on her back (although she doesn't like that one as much). She has a lot of energy in the pool kicking and splashing and sometimes singing too. Try as I might to keep her head up, she does drink some pool water every time and comes up coughing.
Grandma got Alianna a little cooking set so she could cook with mommy. She loves it! And she looks so cute too!!
Maybe the dough needs some hands on kneading

I broke off some corn from my corn on the cob one night for Alianna, but she wanted the whole thing, so I passed it over. She actually did a great job chewing the corn off the cob. She's getting really good at getting little things in her mouth now too, like peas.
We went to Camera Obscura on Monday. They have a camera obscura and lots of cool optical illusions and holographs and holograms.

There was a mat with water displayed over other images and fish swimming. If you walk on it the fish swim away from you and there is a splash. Alianna thought it was really cool.
She caught a fish!?

We made shadow art
and looked in funny mirrors
It was a fun place to visit. They had a great view from the roof and lots of telescopes and binoculars to spy on everyone below.

I knew from a long time ago you had a blog, but I'd forgotten where it was at (plus the first time I came here, you didn't have comments open, so I couldn't contact you). It's exciting to see your life in Scotland - two years ago Avram and I went to England for a one years master degree (for him), but we just missed each other for being there. Now we're in Ohio, where he's doing Phd. Also, we have two girls now, Lydia and Elisheva.

Are you on facebook? I just uploaded a bunch of photos from my time at BYU and you were in a few of them.

Alianna is so cute, and you look so good after having a baby! Congratulations for Mark finishing his thesis!
