This is one of the views from Blackford Hill.  There are really great views of the city from up there, but it was a little too foggy to see.  We hiked up on New Year's day with a lot of other people.  The weather was not too cold, not windy or raining which is rare.

This is the path we walked down to get to the pond on the other side.  Isn't it so pretty!

Last week we were running errands and realized we were close to this castle--Craigmiller castle.  We just missed the last tour, but we walked all around the outside and saw a beautiful sunset from the hill the castle sits on.
