Our baby is now 8 days overdue. We've been saying any time now for the last two and a half weeks that I've been having contractions. But the baby isn't ready I guess. Maybe its just too cold outside and too comfy inside.
Mark is back in school again. It was so nice having him home and being a tourist with him over break. Here is us at Holyrood Palace where the queen still comes to stay every summer, and where Mary Queen of Scots lived before being sent away and her son taking over as king (as an infant). The tour is really good and the tapestries that cover every wall are beautiful. Too bad no photos are allowed inside.
My mom flew in last Monday. She was hoping the baby was coming sooner too. But we have had fun playing games and touring around. We've walked down through all the historic buildings and seen a couple of castles and museums. This is Craigmillar castle from inside. A lot of the wooden floors and roofs are gone, but all the stone floors and winding stairways are there. Craigmillar castle is the oldest intact medieval castle in Scotland and was very cool. Imagine, some of the rooms we were in, people dined in, slept in, played in, back in the 1500s!
