Since we have been pretty bad about updating our blog, here is a brief summary of the summer. We moved to California to stay with Mark's family. Mark and Shalea both went to work for the family business (they raise and sell organic and free range poultry). Mark has worked on engineering projects, and Shalea worked in the office for all of two weeks before she got sick, and stayed sick almost all summer--the culprit--she's pregnant! This first picture is the day we found out we are having a baby.

We did have some fun this summer too. We went to San Francisco a few times (that is Alcatraz in the background). And we went down to southern California too.
Mark's brother had a baby--our new nephew Monte. Mark has had fun holding him and getting practice being a daddy.

Shalea went on a trip to Utah to see her brother David off at the MTC (the one in the suit). He will be headed to the Germany Munich mission in September to share the gospel in German. This is Shalea, brother Daniel, brother David, and mom.
