During sprig break in May we went camping in Big Sur. It was beautiful! We went to beaches and hiked some easy and some hard trails to see waterfalls.

This is one of the only waterfalls that falls into the ocean (it used to fall right into the water, now, after an earthquake, it falls onto the beach.
The water was very cold.
So was our campsite in the morning and at night. The wind blew and we were freezing! Most people camping there had hats and gloves and some winter coats. We tried to stay warm by the fire. During the day it got hot in the sun.

On the way back we stopped at an overlook where we could look out at a beach covered in large sea lions. They were sleeping, barking, and rolling around.
