Our trees are in bloom and starting to grow little fruits. Flowers are up and everywhere. I wish you could be here to smell how wonderful the citrus blossoms smell and all the other flowers. It's a beautiful smell. These are a few of the flowers.
Our garden may look not too big and you may be jealous of all the delicious produce we will be harvesting, but it has been a lot of work digging it up, tilling, hilling, planting and now weeding weeding and more weeding. We have some terrible weeds that travel by root under ground and sprout up everywhere. Also, someone planted mint and it is taking over everywhere. I wish I had taken a photo of the huge pile of mint roots that I ripped out of a small area to the left of the garden. I still have more work to do over there to really get most of the mint out. I say most, because the roots are under the grass and other plants and I will never get it all. I'll forever be pulling out mint. At least I'm getting a great workout.
The tall plants are leeks and the back is grapes. We have tomatoes, peppers sweet and spicy, onions, garlic, asparagus, eggplant, zucchini, snow peas, beans, cucumbers, artichoke, strawberries, rainbow chard, kale, basil, and of course mint that I want to be rid of.
