Zoo, farm, Vintage days Fun!

We went to breakfast with the animals at the zoo.  Although we did have to bring the kids food, we got in early which allowed us a lot of time to visit the animals.
Eli had a rough time in the petting zoo.  He was nicely brushing the animals, then bopped a goat and got kicked.  I was out feeding Lily, but he told me what happened.  Thinking he had learned a lesson, I asked if he would do it again.  Yes, he said.  What will happen if you bop a goat again? I asked.  The goat will bop me down to the ground, he said matter of factly.  At least he was willing to accept the consequences.
I didn't send him back in with the goats to find out if he really would bop another one.  Instead we pet the llama from outside while waiting for Alianna to finish.  Eli even got the llama to eat some hay from his hand.  He was really excited about that!
We had a few really nice days which we enjoyed outside.
Then it started getting really hot.  We tested the pool water.  Shortly after this photo a bunch of kids came and started swimming.  Alianna and Eli ran and changed.  But the water was still a little too cool for them and they didn't last long.
Vintage days is a fun time with bounce houses and blow up toys.  Eli loved the obstacle course.
Alianna went down the giant slide.
The bulldog mascot for Fresno State who puts on Vintage Days.
They even had a pony ride.  Eli was a little worried about sitting on a pony, so he watched Alianna who loved it. (After seeing the rodeo last weekend she told me she wants a horse.)
 They did crafts there too.
And finally Lily.  She rolls on her side now--a lot.  She holds on to things really well and giggles.  She is such a joy to have in our home.
