Santa Monica

Alianna woke up super excited to be camping.  Of course her baby came, luckily only one.  Alianna said she was too little to stay home by herself.

 We went to the pier in Santa Monica.  Alianna ran ahead and stopped to look at some parrots.  Next thing she knew the parrot man had put a parrot in her arms!

 He let Eli hold the parrot too, although he was less excited.

 We played in the sand there too.

 And splashed in the water.

 We also rented bikes and rode along the shore.

 While the kids got a much needed nap.

 We made it to Venice beach where we saw some beautiful and some weird wall art.

Eli loved the leftover corn cobs after dinner.  He pulled them out of the trash and ran around and around with them.

 It was dark and I wanted a photo with no flash, and my camera is not that good, so it's blurry, but I think this still came out as a cool photo.
